My flowerhorn has developed a strange bump on his head over the last few days. It looks like a big zit. I haven't read about any disease that sounds like this. My water quality is perfect, he's well feed and unstressed. Any ideas?

but when i was at petco i saw some other fish that looked pretty cool but they didnt have a price or picture of them saying what they were. so i asked the guy and he had no idea what they were (surprise surprise lol) so he called the manager and she had no idea either. so she said if i wanted them i could pay the price for the zebra dianos which was like 1.79 so i got 6 of them. i put them in with the female flowerhorn in a 36"x18"x24" tank.

i think i found out what they are they look like the pic in the description.

so i ended up getting a male with the store credit. he is pretty sweet looking. hes about as long as my female but hes a shortbody and he has a pretty big kok lol. he has alot of red just like she does.

these are the best pics i could get i need to clean the glass but these are the tanks in the shed so i dont try to keep the glass too clean. i put him in her tank at first just to meet but then i moved them both to the 4 foot tank with a divider.

I brought a young Golden Trimarc FH (3' inches ) couple of weeks back and i am noticing it from past 3 days , the fins are getting black an my LFS says it is normal for a young Golden Trimarc , is it true, if so why does it happen

The parents are a Male Green Texas and a Rose Queen.
When will they peel if they do? I remember someone saying that if they dont peel by 4-5in then they wont, is this true?

I picked up three of them ranging from 1-2 1/2 in and so far the only one that looks like it may peel is the larger one.
It has turned all Black and some spots I think I can see white/red coming through.

1. Shape is the same as red dragon, except that Blue males have proportionately smaller humps.
2. There is very bright orange circle around the eye.
3. 90 odd per cent of the body is metallic Dodger Blue.
