One of my Friend is an Arowana Enthusiast. He ordered a half Dozen Juveniles I told him I will keep one. So I got the HAPPY Call Today.
She seems in good health and about 6" of size. I am keeping her in a 55 G tank for now but I have plans to upgrade the Tank up to 120G Later. I can't take good pics of her right now but I will post some updates soon.

I wonder when I play rock/country/pop, my fish gets excited in different ways, Start Dancing, Fighting, acts more actively. I searched it over google and found this http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_does_music_e...sh%27s_reaction
So they are sensible enough to feel the music. Have you noticed something familiar in your fish keeping experience ? What music is healthy for fish ?

Hello CM Folks,
Have any of you ever perform spawning by rubbing the vent area of fish and drop the fluid in a tank, and laters had frys ? I have seen it on tv, They were showing the way how they gets the eggs and sperms from female/male fish, that guy actually did it with a Syringe (seems painful, and can be dangerous) and put the eggs/sperms in an incubator where oxygen supplies and temperature were stable. After 72 hours he opened the incubator's drawer and there were so many fry swimming out there. A friend of mine told me about the same thing in fish, he said you can do it without using needles and just Rub the Vent area when the fish is mature enough and ready to spawn and Making/digging nest in gravel/stones. If any of you did it, or knows about it, please refer me a site or link so I can read more about it, I have plans to do something like that if i have enough info. If that is possible, I can have the hybrid I want. |
