i got a couple pics today after i cleaned all my tanks. i almost killed these guys. i left a hose in the tank filling up while i was takeing water from another tank. then all of a sudden water started overflowing from the tank. it was filled up all the way to the lights. so i grabbed the lights and they shocked me. i though for sure the fish were gonna get shocked but they all seem normal.
its so hard to get a good shoot of the biggest fry he never stops moving. theres 6 flowerhorn x texas fry and 2 small blood parrots in the tank. he is always chasing one of them. this is the biggest one    this is one of the other big ones  this is the female blood parrot i want to cross with one of the fh x texas she is so fat right now i think she will lay eggs in a couple days.

Wow! That's a fry from the parents in the first pics? If even a couple of them have turned out that nice you've done an incredible job with them. That one is really pretty nice. Love all the pearls. And definitely keep up the good work.

yea thats one of the fry from the start of this post. i have 4 left that look pretty much like that. one has a little more red in the fins sometimes but it comes and goes. but the mother keeps getting brighter red the older she gets so im hoping these will do the same.

the mother from this batch laid eggs this morning i think or late last night. she is in a tank with some of her babies and im pretty sure the biggest two in there are males so......
im crossing my fingers hoping one if them fertilized these eggs! |

well her eggs werent fertilized and i noticed yesterday one of the fry in her tank was missing and today i found it dead behind the tank so that sucks. now i only got 3 left.
