I need some advice on stocking a 125g. It currently houses my 9" oscar and 2 large Angels, but I am wanting to make a change and house some Central Americans....any ideas? I've always loved Carptinis (sp?) and Tri-macs

I am trying to decide if to make my 125g a Midas only or Trimac only tank. This would be a single species tank, with the only other fish in the tank being a Pleco. I was thinking of buying 6 or 8 juvies of either species and letting them pair off and keeping just the pair in the 125g. Any thoughts or advice??

So here is my current tank situation. I have the following fish in my 125g, all fish around the same size (4") except for the flowerhorn which is 5"

1xAlbino Oscar
3xFirmouths
1xGreen terror
1xRed terror
1xJack Dempsey
1xFlowerhorn (largest in the tank)

The red terror is the smallest fish in the tank...the flowerhorn for sure rules the tank, What fish do you think will have to go or should I ride it out and let them get bigger then decide which fish to get rid of?

To be honest the firemouths and flowerhorn are the most aggressive, I think the red terror will be fine since he is the little guy on the block...at least for now that is

I am wanting to find a breeding pair of carpintis to live in my 125g. What is the best way? Maybe get about 8 small ones and let them pair off? Do carpintis males like multiple females to live in the tank or just one to one?
